I figured it out, In the Swedish version, you get the feeling that Kristina Does not believe, but slowly convinces herself that god does exist and care for her, but here, the lyrics don't convey the certainty of nonexistence and in how much despair Kristina is in, by no fault of Susan Boyle of course but in the translation of the song.

Like a diamond, , , it can be set in a ring, an earing, a neclace or may be take a diamond ring as a pendant or just display it entirely by itself. Its beauty presents itself as being itself. I consider this song as a diamond; Susan Boyle is one of the media through which it shows its brilliance. Now, I'm looking forward to hearing another person to sing it. Just enjoy it.
