Great video Marlon, Crucial, how important it is to put your own personal stamp on things. Music and musicians are creating emotion. I'm a firm believer that whatever emotion you put into making the music is felt by the listener. This includes presets as well. Ive stopped being shocked when I'm looking for a sound, that is similar to a particular artist, and land on the exact preset they used. No Changes by the way. So Yes to all reading this. Take Marlons advice. Record it or change the preset but Stamp it and SAVE IT, even if its minimal but make it audible and make it come from your heart. If you hits you in the gut, you're probably on to something. Sharing your experiences is the best education. Because that too comes from the heart. Which is what this world could use a lot more of. Wow Longest comment in my virtual history. Thanks again

This isn’t quite the same as what you are talking about with real sounds, but it’s original and unique... I recorded a sample of our piano. Just a Middle C. And used that sample in a wave table synth to create a lush pad. It’s based on our piano, so no one else in the world has the exact same sound. Plus, it’s my wife’s piano. When I told her I used that piano to make that synth sound it meant a lot to her.

I like your channel man. I have pretty good music, I have stuff on Kardashians and other shows, but I don't have direct connection to the music supervisors. What really would like to know is how to reach out to music supervisors or libraries and how many songs or instrumentals should I pitch?
