Today on Acrylic Pouring with Friends - Art by Tracie Reed I am doing a demonstration of my acrylic pouring swipe tools! I love these re-usable swipe tools - they are eco friendly and make your swipes consistent and beautiful!
This acrylic pour painting demonstration is intended to be an overview of the acrylic pouring swipe tools. If you would like to learn more about acrylic pouring swipe tools, discuss how to use this swipe technique, feel free to leave a reply in the comment section below, and I will answer.
Paints used today:
DecoArt Dazzling Metallics Peacock Pearl, Winsor&Newton Deep Turquoise and The Fine Touch Phthalo Turquoise is mixed with my pouring medium, which is 50% Liquitex pouring medium, 40% Floetrol and 10% water.
1 tsp Amsterdam white pearl is mixed with 3 Tbsp Australian floetrol.
All other Amsterdam pearl paints(Pearl Blue, Pearl Red, Pear Violet)-1 part paint mixed with 3 Tbsp American floetrol and a few drops of water to thin.
Cell activator- 1 tsp Amsterdam Payne's Gray mixed with 3 Tbsp Australian floetrol.
No silicone was added.
