I'm from Wales and you might know me as one of the founders of TheAtlanticCraft or LJ Studios. I created the AtlanticCraft channel in 2012 where I made over 3,000 videos as Joebuz before leaving in 2016 to try lots of other different projects.

Classic Tripod is based on the novel war of the worlds by hg well. Set in the 19th century, an alien from Mars invades Earth, it falls to Earth using a giant cylinder equipped with battle machines called tripods. Along with heat ray guns and black smoke, but eventually the Martians died of bacteria because they had no immunity. And it's the first novel in the world to talk about the alien invasion, but in gmod, he took the alvim correa model to make a mod.

Every time I ever saw a water tower, I would think they looked like the Martian Tripods.

And now we have an actual Martian Tripod that's just a water tower with a pair of googly eyes slapped on it.

Perfection. Childhood validated.

Fun fact: The red stuff coming out of them is the blood of the people that they captured, which they spray out to terraform Earth into another Mars by mimicking the red and gloomy nature. In the 2005 movie, entire fields and hills are covered in blood and blood paste, and there’s even red fog over the hills. It’s terrifying...
