Fix It Or Blow It Up - 1986 Range Rover | Workshop Diaries | Edd China

How much can a car fail a government test? We know John's Range Rover is in terrible shape, and now that it's official, we have to decide whether to fix it or blow it up!
Driving 'Moss' Daisy back from the MoT station was far more traumatic that it needed to be, especially having just collected official written proof of so many issues. Had to stop five or six times just to let the gearbox fluid cool down and to add insult to injury each time I had to bridge the starter solenoid with an old key, as it would no longer start on the key! This week I go through the paperwork with the owner, John (partly to see him squirm a bit) and discuss whether we should keep on with our struggle to get Daisy back on the road or whether to take drastic action and pour our effort and money into a perhaps more deserving project.
China relishes the upcoming project, which invites viewers into his personal workshop facility in Buckinghamshire.
“I’m really excited to finally be able to bring this project to our fans as it is something they repeatedly have been asking for,” said China. “Workshop Diaries will let viewers really get stuck into the project and the detail of the fixes, and also provide a platform for instant feedback and interaction. It’s an exciting prospect and it’s great to finally get going!”
