Endless Space:  One of the best strategy game ever!  However, the space combat got a bit MEH after awhile.  I hope Endless Space 2 does better space combat - and if that happens... it will be ...  the best game ever ever!  :)

Sometimes I think the only way we're gonna get another space 4X as good as Masters of Orion 2 is if we go back to old-school Aztec-style sacrifices until the strategy game gods are appeased.

Looks great, loved the first Endless Space, with the exception of the combat, which looks to be addressed here. I like the 'battle plan' strategy for combat much more than the weird card system they had before, but I hope it's deep enough and has some real-time interactivity/choices.

I love Endless Space, it's a truly excellent 4x space game. If they only could provide a real combat system (not a simple cinematic / card selection thingy) the title would be perfect. Btw. Amplitude is by far the best developper when it comes to GUI design. Other developpers should take an example. Hope they keep the good work up.

I like that battle idea so much, when u have an opportunity to enjoy the fight without trying thinking how and what to do during it. Love it ! great job, cant wait for it !

Ah man the new ship combat looks much better. I didnt mind it being purely cinematic but Endless Space 1's were really lazy feeling, as in the ships lazily floated alongside each other firing gently shimmering beams, or twinkling bullets until the other ship gave a whispering POOF and vanished lol.

A realistic space battle volume option would be handy.  Just the hum of beam weapons being fired & lots of noise when you're hit.  No sound when you hit the enemy.

Elections is one of the best feature I have seen! I already can imagine empire wide election campaigns!
