ist's crazy that we spend like 30% of what the US spends, but it seems like our military is not even close to being 30% as powerful as the US military. We really need to combine our efforts, to make one actually capable military.

Hopefully the EU/UK will make a combined armed forces or at something like EU/UK led logistics. Every country could go it’s way, but the continent supplying itself so we could at least sway away from buying US ammo.

I kind of wonder if the UK (while not straight away) would join some kind of partnership with a EU army. Since it is kind of awkward being in the middle of a EU, USA alliance. Since we would be much smaller.

if only Germany would manage to actually get some useful stuff out of their $56bn and not waste most ot it. they would be better off to give all that money to France and let them spent it on military stuff because France is good at it. they spend about the same amount of money than Germany but manage to pay not only for an aircraft carrier but also for their _Force de Frappe_, something usually quite expensive.
