My small survival truck I made I attached a sawblade in between the front wheels that could extend forward. I meant it for logging but found out if I just turn the sawblade on and leave it under the vehicle it's great at chewing through bots during a raid.

if you slap a universal joint on the ends of the combine harvester and then add more you could make it wrap around a whole farm

My favorite trap is just a spinning pipe along a block/wedge edge. Not sure how to explain it in text... but the pipe is just spinning in place, not moving at all. When the bots walk on it they get thrown into the block in front of the pipe because of the height difference. One taps em. Even the big farmbots get obliterated.

Another useful defense thing is water. Although it may be (somewhat) a limited resource unless you live right next to a river, it means you can just spray haybots and totebots away from your house with a pretty simple system. Or you can just use buckets.

Hopefully they balance this and make it so more means of defense are viable while still having a resource cost to encourage more diversity in gameplay

I have a bot mower on workshop somewhere that smacks a farmbot down in one go, and it only consists of a single bar of metal 3 as the blade.
