For anyone who actually uses the number ranges for their settings just remember these are recommendations. The reason the sliders go further is for people who prefer settings that are outside the recommended settings. If you need controller settings that aren’t ‘recommended’ just to feel comfortable with ur play then thats 100% okay

Hey man, I just really wanted to thank you for the tip about the steering + Ariel sensitivity because before, I was really struggling with air dribbling because it was turned all the way down, but now I'm averaging like 2 to 3 hits in the air. This has really helped and you've earned yourself a sub!

A little tip for some people, try higher sens. I know it seems crazy but go in free play and turn your sens up to max for both. Then after you get consistent switch to a lower but still high but comfortable sens. For me i play on 6 sens and i've never felt better at rocket league. This is especially true for console player who can't use square deadzone. It feels amazing

As a champ 2 player with xbox controller, I recommend binding controls to:
Boost = RB
Air roll & Drift = LB
Drive forward & Reverse = Default (RT and LT)
Jump = Default (A)
Scoreboard = B
Ballcam = Y
Air roll left or Right = X

Just a tip: If you are constantly backflipping when you want to aerial, then turn the dodge deadzone up, and if you are double jumping when trying to aerial then turn it down. You want it to be in the perfect range where you can comfortably do neither

And if you're somehow doing both then you just suck

It does help, and fun fact, a lot of high level players don’t keep their controller settings the exact same always, they change it up based off how they feel when they feel they need to, just like he said, one day a 0.75 dodge deadzone may work but then you notice the next week all of a sudden you notice you feel like you should be flipping but you keep just double jumping, make micro adjustments, drop it to like 0.72 or 0.73. Do this with any setting really. Dont make huge changes, only minor changes if you notice things don’t feel right for you that day or for a few days.
