MY TIP: If you have a used iPhone, or have had your screen replaced, the problem might be a bad aftermarket screen. I suggest you get it replaced or get an oleophobic screen protector ;)

I left the phone on the car seat here in Brazil. You could fry an egg on it - but it cooled down. Then came the touchscreen problem. I rebooted as suggested here without much success. Behaved erratically and even if I could input my password the screen wouldn't slide. I cleaned the protector as best I can with a microcloth and noticed an improvement. It began to seem that the problem was the protection screen and its 'sit' on the screen below. And so it was. I applied maximum manual pressure when wiping it again and then the screen became active again. Heat - separation and whatever bond or adhesion is involved. Five hours after the episode I was up and going and back from despair. Thanks for the excellent video.

Thank you the "off button combined with sound button" tip rebooted my phone and now it works perfectly.

i cracked my iphone 7+ and since replacing, it’s been not near as responsive and my slide to access apps rather then double click the home button stopped working, it’s got some spots while typing i have to press multiple times to register and it’s just not working well for a $200 fix. anyone help me?

My screen was totally frozen, and by simply doing a hard reboot it started working again

my phone screen go black but it is working and sometimes my phone works normally and then the screen turns black it saying that the system software is damage or sum

It's just the upper half of my phone meaning that I can can use this because it's on the lower half
