I don’t know about this guy anymore. I personally think a ‘good wife’ will keep her husband accountable while also knowing her place and duties, especially if he’s the provider. He didn’t even mention what she was demanding, so I’m sure it was stuff he SHOULD HAVE been doing. Lots of guys want pets, not partners.

He sounds like the red flag. If he was doing his part why did she have to remind him? I've seen many 20 year relationships where the partner didn't like how the other spoke to them, they expressed their feelings and worked through it. Marriage is a commitment for better or worse.
