Heat wave takes over parts of West, Southwest

Roughly one-third of the U.S. is in the grip of a dangerous heat system. Warnings and watches are in effect from the West to the Southern Plains. Meteorologist Jeff Berardelli joins "CBS This Morning: Saturday" with more on the nation's weather.

Don’t we just love climate change? Here in Colorado the air has smelled like smoke for weeks and it is hard to get outside and breath the air some days. We have 4 different fire with in the state. The fires aren’t the worst our state has had nor are they as bad as California, but it is very scary to have 4 separate fires all at once
