Large parts of the United States and Canada are experiencing a heat wave. One village in Canada's British Columbia saw temperatures hit nearly 47° Celsius at the weekend, which is 116° Fahrenheit!

I live in BC Canada and I’m telling you it’s HOT! With the humidity it’s like 50 degrees! We’re not used to this here at all. My best friends mother in law passed away today in her own home from heat stroke. She didn’t have air conditioning. It’s actually quite bad.

It's not "whoah this is some insane heat this year" anymore. It's "damn this is quite mild compared to the coming years."
My commune deadass got solar panels just so we can supply our new AC units with power without having to worry about cost or feel bad about the immense energy drain. We are mainly students and the summer heat has simply become unbearable. AC aren't really a thing in German homes or schools, or anywhere outside of commercial areas really. Concentration goes out the window as soon as temperatures hit 30°C and good luck trying to sleep, relax, work out or hang out with others during temperatues like that. And that's just in Germany. It's not even as bad as in subtropical countries. Yet. But you know, we're getting there.

Something unusual is happening in india, blackberry used to grow in the end of monsoon and till now monsoon have not arrived and blackberries have ripen and ending their season

I live in Ottawa, Canada and it has been scorching hot that it is uncomfortable to breathe properly with a mask. My loganberries are riping earlier than usual which is not normal because they usually ripen almost in the middle of July.

Use fans and add wet towels or frozen bottles of ice water over the chest/ neck when extreme. It totally works. I am in australia, with these temps. No AC needed unless trying to work in office, supermarkets or retail and look smart. We cannot afford continue to over indulge causing greater damage to environment both directly and indirectly with Aircon.

When you get an itch on your back, you move you arms and scratch it off. Planet earth doesn't have arms. Instead, it uses the weather to ease its itch. It can raise the temps above 50c if that is what is required.
