same issue here, my old case didn’t protect the sides and my ipad has like 2 dents :/
I got a similar case to yours in pink a month or two ago and it protects the side and most importantly hides the dents 👍🏻

can't decide weather to buy an iPad or not for university... thinking it might be easier for note-taking and saves a lot of space and weight but they also can be very expensive so i'm not sure if it's worth the investment?? this was such a great video though and has swayed me towards purchasing one hehe☺
