I love how a lot of the clips are from Nolan films, they all have stunning cinematography that's on another level, especially Dunkirk, Interstellar, and Oppenheimer, Nolan really knows how to utilize the magic of IMAX cameras

Unsurprisingly, almost all movies are Non-Disney ones.

Christopher Nolan is arguably the greatest film director of the 21st century. Insomnia, Memento, The prestige, Batman trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk, Tenet, Oppenheimer. Simply outstanding.

Blade Runner 2049 is my favorite shot film, the cinematography by Deacons is a masterclass in scale and composition

Nolan's cinematography is always beautiful, truly some of my favorite movies in recent years, Ford v. Ferrari and Dune, glad to see Indiana Jones 4 in this list, that atomic explosion scene was insane🤯

That’s what makes me love cinema the fact you can be memorable from a single shot

1917 is a masterpiece. One of the best war movies I've ever seen

Very true. Cinematography is the soul of composition, light and color.

Every frame of this video can be a wallpaper

My favorite ratios:

1.85:1 - Great and historic compromise between width and height. It can show tall things like buildings or gigantic stature creatures and focused close-ups with great precision, but without sacrificing width beyond what is necessary, which is wide enough for certain movies, no longer having that “boxy” appearance of narrow ratios;

2.00:1- Used with some frequency nowadays, it is similar to the previous one but with a slightly more "epic" scope, while also featuring a very considerable height;

2.20:1 – Very wide and epic, focuses on the environment and shows grand and dramatic panoramas;

2.35:1/2.39:1 – It’s like a version of the previous one, but with a little more steroids. It is, for me, the pinnacle of epic and vast frames.

Below 1.85 and above 2.39 I don't like it because then the frame starts to become either narrow or low in height.

One of my favourite scenes ever is the falling apart scene (when the soundtrack "falling apart" plays) nearing the end of across the spiderverse, its amazingly cinematic.

Also you forgot the scene in TDK when batman is standing in the debris of the explosion, sillhouetted
