A compilation of my favourite shots from the films that Roger Deakins has worked on throughtout his career. Easily one of my favourite cinematographers.

This is a personal video rather than an analytical look at his work, hence I only included the shots I love.

to be honest, I'm a big big fan of Blade Runner 2049, 1917, No Country For Old Men, Sicario, Skyfall, all this film I truly adore because it's so beauty. all this films are already in my computer.
I've watched it over and over. And today I randomly just realize the cinematography on those films was created by legendary mr Deakins, wonderful !

I get why everyone loves him. this vid got me to realize, his imagery is a flat, opaque point of focus, juxtaposed with a complex back- or fore ground.
