Jul.14 -- China’s economy slowed largely in line with economists forecasts in the second quarter. Gross domestic product expanded 7.9% from a year earlier, down from 18.3% in the previous quarter and compared with a median forecast of 8% in a Bloomberg survey of economists. Helen Qiao, head of Asia Pacific economist and chief Greater China economist at BofA Global Research, discusses what the latest figures say about the state of the world's second-largest economy and its policies.
