iPadOS 18.1 Beta 1 is Out! - What's New? - All New Features, Battery Life, Performance and Updates are here.

Apple surprised us all with Apple Intelligence in a new Beta iOS 18.1 Beta 1 and iapdOS 18.1 Beta 1 showing us a preview of what comes after iPadOS 18 later this fall. iPadOS 18.1 Beta 1 is available for all M1, M2 and M4 based iPads as well as iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in the USA and with the language set to English. Awesome video! It will be interesting to see how Apple schedules iPadOS updates since they are doing both the .0 and .1 updates simultaneously. My iPad Pro 11 inch model is running flawlessly on the latest iPad public release. I really like the Apple Pencil pro.

I love the whole design the back a bigger and thinner than them all, it has the best photography and video format set up with the nano texture glass out of the whole device 11 and 13-inch devices. I would go with the 13 in 1TB with verzon

I loaded it on my M4 with a terabyte and it appears to be working quite well. There are some little problems here and there oh by the way mines in the 11 inch iPad four

Aaron, honest question. Since 18.1 is not available for older devices, is Apple fully abandoning older non-AppleAI devices? Seems odd that they would release an “AI-capable” only release, especially when iOS 18 isn’t even officially out yet. Won’t that fragment iPadOS? Thanks for all of your posts.

I have iOS 18.1 on my 15 Pro Max and I live in France so even if I changed languages and region and used a vpn it's not changed everything and I can't used Apple Intelligence :-( I didn't try on my iPad Air M2 11" ! But on thing I notice it's the battery life with this new version of iOS, it's the battery life ! It's last a day without recharging my phone, it's impressive.
