To work with onion for healing is easy. Include onion in your meals is the easiest and simplest way, eat raw if possible. Cut an onion in half and place in a sick room close to the bed. The onion draws bacteria from the air. Chop and onion finely along its circumference and then place the thin round pieces in socks when going to bed. To make an onion and honey syrup, cut the oion in fine rings and place one layer in the bottom of a clean jar. Cover with honey and then add more rings of onion. Cover that and carry on until the jar is about 3/4s full. Leave to sit in a warm place for 4 hours min and until the honey has extracted the onion juice and then take a spoonful when needed. Great for sore throats, bad chests, coughs and colds.
I can be found over on S ubstack too - with extra content. Here is a link

In Katherine Marshall’s book Christy there was a story about someone with pneumonia real bad. This was long ago in the Appalachian mountains. They banded together and sliced tons of onions and cooked them and wrapped them in a cloth and laid this on the girl’s chest. After many hours she suddenly started coughing up awful phlegm and it cured her. I have never forgotten that!

This video made me smile..My daughter-in-law is a pediatrician. While visiting my grandson a few years ago, he was sick and not getting better. I sliced up an onion and put it in his socks and didn’t tell a soul…. Honestly, it was like a miracle… Later on I received a text from my daughter-in-law, wanting to know exactly how I did it. She recognized the healing properties and every now and then will mention that she put onions in his socks when he gets the sniffles. ❄️❄️☃️☃️

Back in the 70s, my son's great-grandmother recommended putting a half an onion in a handkerchief on our chests when lying in bed sick. At the time, I thought it was silly and didn't realize how knowledgeable she was in old ways that truly work. Wish now that I'd picked her brains for more home remedies before she passed.

My grandmother (a while ago as I am over 50) used to put onion slices in our socks when we were kids and sick (at night). I remember the feeling and didn’t like it at all. Too sick and shy to complain though 😂 plus I trusted her. It worked wonders. Like many of the “old” methods she used. Thanks for another lovely video. Hope your electricity is back by now.

Everyone needs to follow people in the US who “prep” for emergencies. A small gas stove, candles, torches, extra batteries, warm blankets, hot water bottles, thermos flask, extra foods such as soups, beans, pasta, tomatoes, porridge, bottled water etc. it all helps if you get a power cut or mains water burst.

Thank you for this onion lesson.
My mom said my grandmother would keep a pot of honey and sliced onions on the radiator in winter and they never got sick. Nature is amazing ❤

💙I like snow . . .
when I can come into a cozy warm home.
😢 for your new weather.
We here do not know how to live without electricity. Water? I do not know WHAT we'd do.
Sending love & warmth your way.

Thank you Terri ❤ I’m always so grateful for what you share. I recently had an unpleasant experience with a “smart” appliance that convinced me that they may be smart, but they are NOT wise. My partner and I have decided we will not buy smart appliances or make any other part of our lives “smart”. We prefer wisdom.

So beautiful is your countryside in snow! I was fortunate to take a six week herbal class at Rosemary Gladstar’s Sage Mountain in Central Vermont many years ago. Taught by Rosemary’s apprentices and Rosemary herself. It was in a yurt. I’ll never forget all the lovely things we learned about wild herbs and plants. Love your videos. They bring comfort and happiness. Thank you!

I wanted to share this with you. Here in NY state, electric is so expensive that I heat one room in my apartment where my birds are. I use an empty bedroom as a root cellar. I can keep veg fresh in there till spring. I've made this syrup with garlic. I have a 3yro jar in my cupboard. I continue to add garlic and honey to it. God bless you all!❤

My wife and I were just talking about how ridiculous it is to depend on electricity ... that's the government agenda, make everyone utterly at the power companies mercy. A desiel 7kva generator comes into its own during power cuts but remember to have a cut-off switch installed in the meter box!
People must make provision, be it a 50kg bag of rice or the whole gridless prepper shebang.
We find onions are good for the prostate and general good health. Many thanks.
