I disagree; the hasselblad is 100% an expense you can justify if you own a commercial studio shooting fashion, products or fine art. Being able to offer 100mp resolution isn’t a new idea, but now you can offer 100mp resolution without compromising eye detection, and without worrying about pulling out the tether cable for a second to shoot something at a weird angle (because of the built in storage)
This is a camera that can live on a tripod, but now doesn’t have to. It’s truly a tool for professionals

I'd still choose Fujifilm's medium format over this. But it's great that it rekindles your love of photography. In the end, that's what's really important.

Tell that to the random youtube influencers using the older version of this (and now this probably) in place of what most would use a small body like an X100 series camera for. The Fuji 50R is a solid option if you want large format, or basically any camera with pixel shift features these days if you're doing still life subjects where movement won't disrupt getting multiple images to stitch together. The Pana G9 and Oly cameras have solid HiRes modes that get back a lot of detail, not as much information as the 50R even, but a TON on a budget if you're just doing something like film or painting scans.
