Why your channel is the best…precise tips and training details. Particularly like “head movement is preemptive.” Great stuff!

Excellent job teaching head movement! I began training in boxing 8 months ago. Sparred for the first time incorporating both body and head. Was never once given a thorough training on proper head movement.

I could have progressed much more, and avoided a slight headache had my instructor given this basic lesson.

Your instruction and simple communication on how to box is very effective and practical.

Keep it up and THANK YOU 🥊

One of the best boxing channel on youtube! Following it for years, incorporating what I see in my fighting and sparring sessions. Priceless!

Man, JT I'm glad you said that about keepin' your hands up. I'm superfast at punch 10 so that never worked for me it always slowed me down. This is George, I love you, man I appreciate all the teachings, though I should have my own channel, I'm going to throw you one. "If you are fast enough to keep your hands down! Makes sure you know how to bring them back"! I went to the Pro Gym for free to train with my homeboy. And he said sometimes my hand placement was wrong. I was like its a trap, Go for the opening and get Zapped. But I realized when we bring our hands back, We need to watch our defense, to protect against the counter attack. I'm sure you can make a awesome video about that. Thanks again! Coach.

Appreciate your videos! Just reached the 50s so always looking to keep moving, boxing beats just walking which can get boring lol

What a fantastic video! I noticed you mentioned not to keep your hands up, but it's interesting to see how Canelo effectively uses a high guard while still maintaining great movement. keep moving forward mate

Your style is fists in front of face. If you were a guard fighter it would be different. You don't high guard or guard at all. You don't protect your face by bringing your fists back to guard after a punch. #3 Moving head doesn't eliminate the threat of being hit. Cus would definitely disagree. Calling a guarded head movement overkill is like calling an airbag overkill. Some fighters use it faster than you without it. Every fighter is different and not every style is for every fighter.

My problem is overreacting and moving way to much to avoid a hit. But I know it’ll get better with experience. I should be James Toney level by next year. Hahaha
