Digital games should be cheaper due to cutting alot of costs involved in physical games.

Why digital? Because you can’t borrow, lend out or sell your game. In addition, if your account gets suspended or banned for whatever reason, you’ll lose access to your digital library. Oh, and let’s not forget the awesome feature where we inevitably shut down our store, making it impossible to redownload your favorite games! But who cares? You’ll be happily gaming on the cloud by then!

There should always be an option for physical or digital. Don’t want only one place to buy games because then they have all control on prices.

The Series S and gamepass are what finally drew me back to Xbox.. it works for me specifically because I sold my physical Xbox games like 13 years ago.

Digital games are great, and I really prefer being able to switch quickly without discs. However, I still love having the drive for DVDs & Blu-Rays. It's always good to have the discs for shows and movies you love, because you never know when they'll get pulled from streaming. (Or individual episodes omitted because the overlords deem them politically incorrect.)

It would be awesome if the Xbox Series S supported external CD drives, so that people could play their old Xbox games on it. Hope you do something about it in the future!

Things Xbox need to do-
-allow offline setup of the system and profiles
-confirm that FPS Boost compatibility states are included in the OSU
-allow XB1 disc installation & first time play on SeriesX, without an online check
-mandate Smart Delivery discs contain both versions

You don't really "buy" digital games. You're just buying the right to play the games as long as they are available. That's all.

For me personally, my mom taught me not to lose discs or scratch discs all the time.

Disc based games are still mandatory because not everyone has fast internet. That's especially an issue in Germany, Australia, etc.
