I knew about apeel but I wasn’t sure how to find out which produce was tainted with it. I bought two avocados last week and they never changed in consistency. I opened one and it is perfect, not a blemish but very rubbery. It has no flavor and is not creamy like a ripe avocado at all. Also, I save the pitts and plant them for trees. So I tried to dry out the seed like I usually do and it’s like a rubber ball! Obviously, this crap is sprayed with chemicals. If I have to I’ll return this inedible junk to the store because it probably won’t even rot by the next time I shop to return it. Then if enough people do this they will reject this toxic junk. I never used to return food…ever but I’ve started to if it tastes old or whatever. We’ve worked too hard to just suck it up.
