I googled her before judging, "Khelif is not a transgender. Unusually, she has XY sex chromosomes — women usually have XX sex chromosomes — but Khelif was born female.

EDIT: The athlete in question, Imane Khelif, was born female. She is not a biological male, nor transgender. Furthermore, her disqualification in previous competition came from the IBA, whose credibility is questioned. The details of the IBA test were not disclosed either, which leads one to further question the decision. According to the IOC, Imane was born female, is registered as a female, and always boxed as a female. Based on what is known about her, the comments about her and the way she's been treated are not fair. I was wrong to believe things about her without even knowing the facts of the case, and won't be jumping to conclusions until I learn more about the issue.
