A perfect Saturday, playing World of Tanks while watching Tony build tanks. Love it!

Tony, thank YOU for sharing this build, no way on earth I could ever afford such a project so I'm going to use you as my surrogate and fully enjoy your experiences, what fun

I love how the kits reflect the different manufacturing techniques of the actual tanks. I.e the Tiger being made up of mostly flat plates and the Pershing having large sections cast as one piece.

Thanks for these vids. Nice to have these issues all sorted before I start.

Awesome model sir, naughty step however for Armortek making you tap holes . Glacis plate was nice chunk of metal 😎😎, grandchildren stole the show, video nice future record of the tanks birth for its next generation owner.

Thanks Tony …another great informative video… I am ahead of you on MY build and going through all the decisions of what to paint and when to paint 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ before assembly…. That problem with the threads in the rear quarter block has so far been the only problem I have come across. The quality and fit of all the components is amazing … Full marks to the Guys at Armortek… engineering at its finest 👍
Keep on enjoying your build… we are waiting 🙏👍

So far I'd say this one looks fairly straight forward - do the Grandchildren help, or hinder? 😀 He says, watching them run down the garden with the screwdrivers!

A dab on the head of fasteners with thread lock applied by a white fine paint pen saves you down the track. Easy to spot the ones you left unlocked on purpose as well so you can sort it later.

I'm enjoying this build as much as the last, I'm probably limited to the 1/16th plastic versions financially but I'd love to build one of these at some point

Hi Tony. I really enjoy watching your builds and wish I could afford to buy one of Armortek's kit's for myself. It must be very satisfying and therapeutic to construct such a well made kit. There is one thing I may have done different and that is to apply a thin bead of silicon sealant on the mating surfaces of the hull components to ensure that no water or any other undesirable substances can enter the hull when the completed tank is being enjoyed.

regarding the vibrations... I own a 29 year old Honda, almost none of the screws has thread locker applied, but they are all tightened with af torque wrench. A normal M6 screw with a collar on the head is torqued to 9NM-12NM. Normal torque for an M5 screw is 4NM and that is basically nothing. I don't have any problems with loose screws an at 12000rpm, there is a bit of vibrations.
Again thanks for sharing your builds!! 🙂

Nicely done, Tony. I’d like to point out there are two types of taps. Through taps, that are tapered and have very little thread at the bottom, and bottoming taps that have threads all the way down, for threading blind holes. A through tap should work here, but…

Hi Tony. You can see that it is a heavy tank just below the waist of the torso.
What is going on with the suspension parts that support that heavy torso!
I'm really looking forward to it.

その重厚な胴体を支える足回り部品がどうなっているのか!
大変楽しみにしています。
