Can't wait for the turret, and to see it all get painted, I CAN say, straight up, I would never have gotten past those grilles, takes a very special temperament, but I'm thoroughly enjoying your process, if you plan on doing another following the completion of this beast, you now have excellent examples of both German and US tanks, you might now consider the truly groundbreaking British centurion, an incredible design that changed tank thinking for all future tanks and Armortek has (had, not sure they're still producing it) simply a wonderful iteration of that amazing vehicle, just a thought

Excellent video once again Tony. It sounds like a good set of files and a Dremel are a necessity in our tool kits to complete this build.

Hi Tony.. another great informative video… You have already mentioned about leaving the rear panel loose until after the motors are fitted.
It maybe worth drilling and tapping two EXTRA holes in the lower edge of the back panel because the existing two outer holes are almost impossible to access as they are under the motor gearboxes . Wish I had done that myself .👍

Hi Tony, great work, I would of defo painted the slats first. You will never get paint coverage inbetween

I am intrigued to know how you plan to paint the grille plates now they are in a made up state as the gap between the plates looks tight. Looking good…..cheers.

Well made point Tony, although you have to have the odd fettle with bits, it would make you feel a bit cheated if it all snapped together and was built in a weekend, you should be proud of what you've done buddy.

Another great insight into the detail of building your model, and it's great to see it coming together so well. I'm really looking forward to the turret work. I'm still waiting on my own delivery but I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in. (Not literally - but the barrier cream is a really good tip!) In the meantime I'm clearing my job list of household tasks like painting garden furniture so that I can have a clear run at my build. Keep up the good work - or is it play?

A fine looking outcome, lovely details. Not done any research as yet, but does those grills open to access the engine on the real tank? ...and if so, has anyone made a mock up/fake engine to put underneath?
