So glad someone has finally stood up to Vance Ferrell’s book! I couldn’t even get through it it was so confusing. Praise God for biblical truth and SOP. It’s all we need!

I'm not sure that this is an accurate description of what trinitarians believe. The problem, as I see it, is that the NT authors were writing before the development of the trinity doctrine. Thus, overwhelmingly, they focus on the idea that Jesus is the messiah, (Christ), the Son of God. They did not view him as YHWH but as YHWH's anointed, his messsiah, his king; his agent, the one who would successfully accomplish the will of YHWH. This is why hundreds and hundreds of times Jesus is differentiated from God in the NT. The Jesus of the gospels has a God. He prays to his God. The resurrected Jesus still had a God. (John 20 :17). The glorified Jesus in heaven itself still had a God. (Rev 3 :12). The Christians of the Apostolic period believed that Jesus had been resurrected by God and exalted to heaven to be at the right hand of God. YHWH had made him both Christ and Lord. (Acts 2 :22-36).

Trinitarians are faced with the subordination of the Son in the NT. However, by dismissing the analogy of Father and Son to a mere function; by using the non-biblical language of Greek philosophy to talk about essence and substance; to redefining only-begotten etc they are able to deceive their audience.

Thanks Imad !! And right on with the truth as it is in Jesus, the literal Son Of God the Father.

Indeed, and I'm glad that you are teaching correctly that the trinity is an error. Though I'm sure I don't agree on every point of theology.

all deny that Jesus is the literal Only Begotten Son of God

When I read statements and' explanations' by those that write these books, it is expressively reminiscent of the phrasing of the serpent in the garden.
It is even rendered in the same form of a question.
Such as in 'The Trinity' publication page 94 by Woodrow Whidden.
'While we often refer to Jesus as the Son and frequently call the first person of the Godhead the father, do we really want to take such expressions in a totally literal way?'
How cunningly leading and artfully devious. The core of the subtlety is the?... 'do we really want'.
For those that sell themselves for filthy lucre, they do not 'really want' the vindication of truth and the holy honor of God.

If the word son is to be taken literally and not as covenantal language, , what will you do with Isaiah 9:6 that shows he is also everlasting father?
Isaiah 9:6
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The Father begetting a "literal Son", and then commanding that "literal Son" to suffer and die an unimaginably horrifying *not* love. (It's actually an abomination.)

The Father "coming down from heaven" _without leaving heaven, _ and manifesting _himself_ on earth in genuine human form - as _his own_ Son, "the man Christ Jesus" - and laying down _his own_ life for love.

_"Greater LOVE hath no man than this, that a man lay down _*_HIS life_* [not his "literal son's" life] _for his friends."_ (John 15:13)

Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, and he will be called wonderful counseller, Mighty God, Everlasting farther, prince of peace, Therefore Jesus is the Everlasting farther, Mighty God, the farther is pleased to have all his fullness dwell in Jesus christ in bodily form, as one and only true God, Therefore God is not three persons and three God's, or we are not in the image of our creator. We are created in bodily, soul and spirit, as one person with a name Adam. The trinity is man made religion.

Begotten by decree, not by generation or creation:

Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Through virginal conception: Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? In the likeness of sinful flesh: Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

For our glorification: Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

How very ignorant. I literally know 1000’s of Trinitarians. Every single one of them believe that Jesus is both the Son of God and God the Son. That’s the orthodox Christian view of the Godhead. Don’t attack people for believing things they don’t even believe.
