Position of Jesus (peace be on him) in Islam:

(i)
Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

(ii)
We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).

(iii)
We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

(iv)

We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh).

(v)
We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.

(iv)
We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.

CONCEPT OF GOD IN CHRISTIANITY:

One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):

(i) "My Father is greater than I."
[The Bible, John 14:28]

(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]

(iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]

(iv) "…I with the finger of God cast out devils…."

CONCEPT OF GOD IN OLD TESTAMENT:

God is One


The following verse from the book of Deuteronomy contains an exhortation from Moses (pbuh):

"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad".
It is a Hebrew quotation which means:
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord"

Unity of God in the Book of Isaiah

The following verses are from the Book of Isaiah:

(i)

"I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour."
[The Bible, Isaiah 43:11]

(ii)

"I am Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 45:5]

(iii)

"I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me."
[The Bible, Isaiah 46:9]

Old Testament condemns idol worship

(i)

Old Testament condemns idol worship in the following verses:

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"

"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."

(ii)

A similar message is repeated in the book of Deuteronomy:

"Thou shalt have none other gods before me."

I hope people understand that this isn't a conflict between Christian and Muslim. It's merely a debate about Trinity.

As a Christian, I feel like other Christians think I'm "stupid for not *understanding* the trinity" and they try to repeat the same handful of examples over and over. Yes, I do "understand the trinity" in the way they describe it, but I do not believe it. It is not of the Bible. The end point blank.

Why will God send himself to Die and when Jesus was crucified in the cross he says to his father in heaven " my father my father why did you leave me" and in John it is said "that he gave his only begotten son" this clearly shows that The father and the son are separate and the holy spirit is not a separate person or God...

I am a Christian, who use to believe in the trinity. This gentleman is right, the word trinity is not in the bible.
The trinity can't be proven through scripture. What has God said, about
Himself? He said, that He is ONE!!
Because He is God, and is almighty,
there is absolutely nothing too hard
for Him. He, God the Father, manifested Himself, in three persons in scripture, as Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit, yet remaining, ONE
GOD!! This gentlemen is wrong, regarding that Jesus, didn't say He
is God!! In John gospel, chapter 14,
Jesus said, if you seen me, you seen
the Father. In John gospel, chapter 6,
Jesus said, before Abraham was, I AM!! The Jews wanted to stone Him,
because in that statement, He claimed to be God!! In Isaiah Chapter 9, Jesus is called Father!!
And finally, one of Jesus names is
Emmanuel, which mean " God is with us!! May the Lord God Almighty

Trinity has been around since the gods of Babylon and Egypt.

It's the god made by men.

Also in the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 24, verses 50-53, "When he [Jesus] had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. If Jesus wasn't God, why would the disciples worship him ? Also Dr Naik has taken those verses out of context. When Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, he came back to his disciples and they were shocked, as if they saw a ghost. Then Jesus said, that no he wasn't, he was flesh and blood.

one thing is for sure....i really dont think God is going to condemn any of us for getting his essence wrong. if He is 3 in one or if he is just one with a subordinate, as long as we know he sent Jesus so that we may be forgiven and have salvation, none of us have anything to worry about but for the record i for one DO NOT believe in the trinity
