Initial D Legend Stage: «Kansei Dorifto» [BLENDER CINEMATIC]

Hi all, I want to share some facts about the development of this video!

The big question was the choice of a race that could be done in such a visual. So I decided to remake my first Blender Cinematic using this style.

I also want to answer the question why did the car numbers change? [Instead of 13-954 -> 954-3 etc.]
I decided to separate my regular line of remakes from the cartoon line in this way.

If there's a lot of activity under this clip, maybe I'll continue to develop this style in a separate Legend Stage remake series.

Главным вопросом был выбор гонки, которую можно сделать в таком визуале. И я решил сделать ремейк своего первого Blender синематика, использовав этот стиль.

Также хочу ответить на вопрос почему изменились номера автомобилей? [Вместо 13-954 -> 954-3 и тд]
Я решил таким образом отделить свою обычную линейку ремейков от мультяшной.

Если этот под этим роликом будет большая активность, то возможно я продолжу развивать этот стиль в отдельной серии ремейков «Legend Stage»

This is what I wanted from the legend movies!

The body movement of keisuke is natural and smooth while the cars have that manga drawn effect.

Every time a new animation is made, the quality goes up a level!

Holy shit.

Dude I'm actually blown away. The motion of the cars is so damn smooth and everything's timed very well with the audio/music.

The quality here is through the roof. I was deadass bouncing up in my chair like an absolute child watching this it was so intense.

Smile from beginning to end. Never stop animating.

That Wangan tune at the end was a nice touch for describing the 86 being a "ghost", since the Devil Z was speculated to have it's own "spirit".

The wangan midnight theme in the end make the feeling of keisuke more appropriate knowing that the 86 is like a ghost car for him in this chapter

it looks like you went from super high quality blender cinematics, to this more manga looking style and I really appreciate. I love the style shift, and I think its way more fitting for something like this. The cell shading on the cars was SO COOL!

I quite like the evolution of the style from the FC3s and AE86 vid, to the R32 and Lan-Evo IV and now this. You passed from smooth animation to this one who's more "blocky" or feels more like a stop motion at some points, like you're turning the pages of a manga to see the next page with just slightly more details on a scene. It's really good looking and it doesn't take you out, it just gives off a different feeling from the other races that I quite like

the low framerate on the cars to blend the anime style with realistic graphics
this isnt a blender project its fucking art, it has artistic intent and it doesn't directly follow the source material it flows in tandem with it, making its own path in wonderful ways and my god

I normally would be tired of this race, but this made me love it again and the wangan midnight soundtrack at the end fit perfectly, chills down my spine rn
