Lon has written 9 books and is currently the host of Phantoms & Monsters Radio.

Lon was born and raised in south central Pennsylvania, near the Gettysburg National Military Park and Battlefield. After living in the Baltimore, MD metro area for 40 years, he eventually moved back to his hometown in 2016.

I have several encounters with different things also but sense 2012 they have picked up I live in Oklahoma on the river and last week I had something growl at me through the kitchen window at 430 am getting ready for work. I’m 54 and Iv had encounters ever sense I can start to remember them.

The living, walking tree thing makes me wonder about the missing 411. Imagine if a tree or a being that looked like a tree suddenly just pulled someone into it. Just pulled someone into a large crevice underneath it or devoured them in some way and then just went right back to being a still "tree". The searchers for missing people never look at the trees. There are just so many of them nobody ever notices them or looks up the way into the branches. Sometimes people hear the person calling out but never see anyone, i know it sounds bizarre but what if they had been swallowed up by a tree or pulled underground. Theres an x-files episode where a predator like thing with invisability cloaking ability pulls people underground. These predator like things are being seen more & more often ut seems.
