Perfect card to start. Breaks down to less than $10 a month from the annual fee and you get all the main benefits ie ability to transfer to travel partners. Spent 130k points to stay at Ventana for 3 nights instead of paying damn near 8k and it was perfect 😌

Despite some youtubers bashing or disregarding the CSP, i have maintained that it is one of the best if not the best entry level travel cards on the market, period.

This is the last card I have left to get in my setup. I currently have the Costco Visa, Amex Gold, Capital One Venture X, BILT Mastercard and the Chase Freedom Unlimited. Unfortnately, I am at 5/24 but once I am past that, the CSP will be in my portfolio!

Sebby I think my favorite feature was the travel insurance. I was fully prepared to pay $150 to insure a trip and found out the CSP covered it. I am sure as an old hand you know this is common for travel cards but as a newbie, I was pleasantly surprised!

As someone who normally uses Priceline, having the ability to pick my own hotel is what I like. I know it’s kind of by choice, but accumulating points throughout the year and having a 25% multiplier helps me soften the blow to my budget when traveling.

I've been watching your videos for a while now. I'm really only an occasional traveler and barely get free plane tickets on points but I'm always looking to learn. I'd like to give you a little criticism on your videos. When you give examples of the various ways you can redeem the points I find you go a little too fast and are a little too short with the explanations at times. Please slow down OR link the video to a page that shows these examples broken down so we can follow along more easily. I do feel your passion for this point game. It comes shining through. 🚙

This is the best vid on this card I've watched. Thank you for providing the equation to demonstrate the points' value.

Go with which Sapphire has the highest rewards points, them move to the other card when allowed. Then in 4 years do it again.

With the $15 per quarter instacart credit, you’re actually making $ on this card. To me, that makes it a keeper for 2024

Imo my favorite travel card is the United Explorer. Same AF (but it’s free for the first year), primary CDW global entry credit priority boarding and free checked bag and one time lounge passes per year

It’s easier to justify the AF on the Explorer if you travel once a year, check a bag both ways, and go to the lounge at least once in your trip. By doing these you’ve more than covered the fee and you didn’t have to jump through too many hoops

And for broad travel categories there’s the WF autograph

Got it last year and just stacking pts to hit the Maldives in 2025 with my family of 4, hopefully I get there with at least free travel. Got 300k pts so far

It’s as if you read my mind. The intro alone spoke to me on a personal level.

Are you reading my mind Sebby?

What do you think about this card and the new Wells Fargo autograph journey card? Please advise. Thanks.

Great video. I have the Chase trifecta with 100K points sitting in my UR account but been so busy that I haven't had a chance to even use them. This video reminded me of some of the redeption options for CSP which I totally forgotten about.

🚗. I like the Transfer points… I’m getting 60, 000 pts so I’m planning to do a major Hyatt tour this year!😊

🚗 I use the points for Hyatt or Southwest. Great value.

It was my first travel credit card. It's still a keeper but TBH I don't use it much outside of the transfer partners and no FTF fees when traveling abroad.

I’m new to travel. I do have a Bank of America card…it isn’t travel one…I’m looking for no annual fee because I don’t travel much maybe once a year. What about the card a normal card I saw a Wells Fargo ?or a card equal what this card does no annual fee since I won’t use card much?

🚗 thx Sebby! I had the CSP but cancelled it in 2020 (downgraded to freedom). I'm thinking to reapply for it this year. Would I be eligible for the sign up bonus again?
