I’m new to poshmark & the first three messages I got were from two people saying they sent me money & they’re computers “all of a sudden started lagging” & wondering if I got the money, word for word the exact same message & of course I hadn’t received any money! The other person was saying they couldn’t see my pictures & asked me to email them. I just didn’t respond because I had no idea what to say! Thank you so much for answering those two scenarios! It’s a little frustrating you can’t communicate with people on poshmark to ask those things! Also about not having to share/follow everyone. That gets a little overwhelming! Thank you so much for this comprehensive tutorial! It really helped, I just started and made a sale (exciting). It is troublesome that there seem to be so many scammers. I got a request for more images of some boots. I sent them and, bingo, they had my email addy. Next thing I know I get a fishy looking alert saying the boots were sold. Click here, so I did. Basically, they wanted my cc info in order for me to get paid? I said, why? I had already given my info (no cc info) to Poshmark with the legit sale. I just politely said I’d wait for the shipping label from Poshmark and that was the end of that. Then, today, someone writes and says they have sold one of my items on their platform and I have 3 days to fulfill it and it’s garbage. A quick google cleared that up for me - what they were trying to do doesn’t exist. Newbies, like me, have to be very careful. Maybe you can do a little youtube on the scammers preying on new people, hoping we have no idea what to do? Thank you so much. I would not have known the process were it not for your video.
