Both concepts are not wrong. I understand the coach wanting to maybe keep the student still. When Rory is 5' 9" 160 and has come up and back to load, then sit to swing like a taller player and produce the forces he needs to hit the ball long ad long, as long as he gets back to the ball. Bryson on the other hand is 6' 1" 240 and does not require that much movement for the same effort.
