Seeing the wires surrounded by tree branches is unacceptable and illegal. CenterPoint has the responsibility to maintain this grid. Period, no excuses...

I feel for you because I live in Hurricane Country and have been through many storms. Those of you with tree damage, that will be your insurance company's responsibility to pay the repairs on your homes. These electrical issues involve CenterPoint. Contact an Attorney. God Bless...

If you have trees like that in your yard you're asking for it

Why didn't the Centerpoint building open for their customers? They could have brought a bill or receipt and put them up while the linemen and tier 1 could do the work to resolve? Instead, no answers

Great... Now Houston is gonna chop down all of the last trees left in the city. I'm from Houston but live in Knoxville now and Houston is one of the ugliest cities I've seen because of the lack of trees and natural green space.

If 2 million houses were on fire would it be Houston fire department’s fault? If 2 million homes got broken into would it be Houston police department fault?

I’m from Baytown, and from a neighborhood in Baytown that was razed to the concrete slabs by Hurricane Alicia, in 1983.. It’s a nature preserve now.. I have total empathy..

However, for the price of 1% of your home’s assessed value, everything with be replaced by your insurance.. Probably no more than $5K.. And they finance jobs like this too..

Don’t start a war with your neighbors over an act of God (legally speaking)..
