The RTX 4060 received a lot of criticism, and I particularly agree with most of it, especially regarding the small performance gain compared to the previous series, but its energy efficiency is insane!

a shame nvidia didn't give 4060 have 3070ti like performance, i mean it's 3 years gap of tech.
imo, 4060 should between having 12gb vram while having 3060ti performance, or 8gb vram while having 3070ti performance, it should be possible, unless they wanted more money.

Lots of used 3070 on the market but you run the risk of getting a mined one. Plus, it uses a ton of wattage compared to the 4060.

Nah, Rtx 4060 better.1) 2x less wattage (best option for laptops), 2) better dlss(gets more fps then 3070 when dlss on both is on), 3) way less heat even when on low fan speed, 4) cheaper.

The main advantage of 40 series is dlss, especially for single player games, not comparing with dlss 3 on is a crime

3070 has more frames and better frametime

i can undervolt it to 160 - 180 watt (often stable at 167 watt) and the performance is the same as the stock wich higher than 4060 even 4060 ti

250W vs 115W is crazy, also u get frame gen and maybe even more advanced rtx and tensor cores! Also buying a used 3070 saying its a good buy just buy a USED 4060 because you cant compare non used vs used.

how is your 3070 using that much power, mine is over clocked to 2085mhz and 8000mhz on mem with +40 on volt and 112% power limit at max load it draws about 260-270 watts, your 3070 looks like it's stock
