The KeyStep Pro is above S tier. I have two of them linked together via MIDI. One sits at my desk where my console is. I use that for stuff on my keyboard stand, on the desk, and in the rack. My other one sits on my table for desktop synths, semi modular synths, and Eurorack. I run those with MIDI through boxes. My DX7 is used as a master keyboard into KSP #1. Since I have the KSP 1 going into KSP #2, I can use my DX7 to play my Eurorack. The KSP is amazing for sequencer and arpeggiator stuff. But with MIDI through boxes it's also great for MIDI routing. I love being able to use my DX7 to play anything in my studio that uses 5 pin MIDI, CV, or VSTs that I rarely use.

The KSP is the heart of my system and allows me to make the music I want to make.

I'll go to bat for this video all day long. Most often these things come off like extended glamour shots for gear that will *take your production to the next level* for the low, low price of $2999 per channel or whatever.
