A visit from the missionaries can be pleasant, but if you already have your own church, then there might likely be no need to be converted.

If you are in need of a smile... or positive energy... maybe you need someone to stand next to you at the kitchen sink and dry while you wash dishes while having a conversation... The missionaries I have met have been a beacon of light even on my darkest day. What I love about LDS missionaries... is the "friendship first" that always came when they came to visit my family. Imagine your worse case scenario... financially strapped, kids driving you nuts, your car broke down, you lost your job, you have NO IDEA what you need to feed the family... Ask the missionaries over to visit. Maybe you smile, maybe you cry a little... I have always wanted them to come back. If you are a single guy, they will send guys so dont think this is a dating service... Same thing for ladies, they will send sister missionaries over to visit... They are kind, they are a light in the world, that the world always needs... OK STOP, you don't understand or agree with the doctrine... SO WHAT... I do not need to agree with them to enjoy their kind ways, their smiles and conversation. YES, eventually they will, when YOU are ready discuss religion... It's not heavy, it's not the end of the world... Giving up Sweet Tea, Coffee, Alcohol, drugs and being chaste inside a marriage.... May eventually be the end goal... You dont need to do that day one or day 100, it is when YOU are ready. They dont ask you for money, AT ALL... You are NOT REQUIRED to go to church... (they will invite you... you choose if/when you are ready...) Wherever you are in the world, in your life... I would humbly suggest you invite them in and just experience the pure light they have always been to me... Remember these are Humans, no one is perfect... My grandfather told me to surround myself with people trying their best, to be their best. That's what these people are to me... I love them... I admired them and I wish them... ON YOU and yours...

The last time I saw any of you missionaries of the Mormon faith you know I was smoking a lot of marijuana and I would allow y'all to come in to the apartment and it was smelling like a pound of marijuana I would give you a water a snack and y'all would just talk about God you know I really appreciate it
