The Ninja V really turns the R6 into a solid video camera. Not a fan of the micro HDMI port, but it is manageable. The Ninja V is also perfect for recording 10bit clog on my EOS R instead of 8bit.

So when I go to Atomos' website, select Canon as the brand, I see that the R6Mk2, R5, and R5c are the only cameras with a listed as "ProRes RAW" and you can click on them. Are you able to record All-I/ProRes RAW on your R6Mk1?

I have an R6Mk1, and I'm thinking about getting an external recorder for longer record time, less overheating while saving money on V90 high-capacity cards for video.

I’m currently using an Andycine monitor in my R6 but occasionally need to record over 30 minutes. I’m also frustrated that I lose touch autofocus with the monitor only option. Can you confirm that you still have a fully functioning flip out screen when recording to the Ninja? Touch focus, menu adjustments etc…. Thanks.

Hello and Thank you for your video ! The r6 doesn't have the possibility to record in aperture priority or speed priority. Can you do that with the Atomos by any chance ? Thank a lot

Nice breakdown man! Have they fixed the issue where Cinema Gamut wasn't being recorded correctly? If not, what color space do you normally record in on the atomos, bt709 in CLOG3?

Great video, appreciate the knowlegde. I am shooting the EOS R6 and was wondering in I can configure the Atomos to capture the video in ALL-I instead of the IPB options that the R6 only shows? I shoot surfing videos and primary use the footage for frame grabs, so I want the best quality frame grab where erratic motion is filmed. Thanks in advance.

How are the fans? Are they noisy? I record a lot of interviews, hoping the fan noise wont get picked up on the audio? Great video :)

I use the R6 and m1 mini and m2 air and the m2 air can decode the 4k h.265 without proxy and I can run it from an external hardrive. My i7 10700h Laptop cannot do that. Although I really want to atomos I have nothing to complain about

I have an issue with noise on my monitor so I end up not using it.. am I doing something wrong? I have the r6 w/ the ninja v but I'm not sure if it's possible that I may just have a bad hdmi I purchased? There's just so much grain or "noise" and I have no idea how to bypass it.
