Hi, I know this is a late question but if you're still reading these: I have a Roland FP10 electric piano which has a USB Midi out port but no classic Midi in/out ports. I want to connect it to an ASM Hydrasynth Explorer, which has the classic midi in/out ports, but I don't know if the cable you show here will work or if I need to use a midi interface box. I will also have to attach an adapter to change the USB to USB Midi on the USB end of the cable, I think, because the Roland piano uses USB Midi. So my question is do you think it's possible to play the ASM Synth with the master control coming from the Roland FP10 with a cable, or does it have to go through an interface box, or a DAW?

So one cable on the midi in the other on midi out … then where’s the usb cable going ? And the 1/4 inch jack cable that goes on the amp is connect to wich keyboard ?

I am wondering what benefit the jdxi brings to your keyboard rig since the Kronos is such an amazing and expressive instrument. Is Jdxi comparable sounds or perhaps simpler to use for recording ideas?

Thanks for sharing this. If you use the Korg Kronos to control the JD Xi, can you use all the keys of the Korg Kronos, or is it just mapped to the smaller number of keys on the JD Xi?
