I walk in the beachfront city of Santa Monica in western Los Angeles County. This popular destination is home to famous sights such as the Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Street Promenade, and vast entertainment & dining scene. I walk on the Pier, check out the amusement park, area under the pier, and walk on the oceanfront past Muscle Beach.

Santa Monica's my favorite spot in all of L.A. I stayed there on my first visit to Los Angeles back in 1978 to celebrate my 21st birthday there. I also stopped down there on my three other previous visits to L.A. back in 1981, 1983, and in 2015. No visit to Los Angeles is complete without stopping off in Santa Monica.

Another enjoyable video, ActionKid!! I drove Route 66 twice. Once in 1965. and again in 1973. That famous road does NOT start all the way on the east coast. It started in Chicago, and ended in Sanata Monica. It was opened in 1926, and officially closed in June 1985. Cheers!! :)
