I walked through the lively neighborhood of West Hollywood on Santa Monica Boulevard on a Saturday Night. The strip was full of people dining out, socializing, and enjoying themselves. This part of West Hollywood is known for it's many restaurants, dance clubs, social bars, and late night fun.

Well, ! one thing is for certain. night life and youth, have not changed in 60 yes! I said 60 plus years. I've hit the highlight in Germany, Paris, Rome, NYC, DC, in my youth and this looked like it did back then. People socializing and having a good time. some things just do not go out of style. Love West Hollywood. I spent some time there a couple years ago. Probably one of the coolest areas, right in the middle of all the fun, and the people are pretty chill.

West side! Go west my son. For other non touristy but lively walkable areas try Culver Blvd between Venice Blvd and Duquesne Ave (also Culver City Park a walk down Duquesne is a nice neighborhood park with a dog park attached). Also recommend the Japantown area on the westside on Sawtelle Blvd between Olympic and Iowa Ave - lots of Asian restaurants and shops where there is usually a young local crowd on weekends and weeknights.
