This channel is gonna be 50x more useful to me when I actually become an adult, but subbing and saving videos from it until then

Two things:
1. This just changed my life. I just moved and out current house’s AC isn’t heating up as well so I’ve been freezing cold (and I’m anemic) so as soon as this video came up, I went on my ceiling fan and tried it for myself. 10/10, it’s not even chilly directly under the fan with the switched direction!
2. My sister put me on to your channel and she adores you! She hopes to hug you one day lmfao I thought I’d throw that in since I never leave comments.

Another tip for keeping cool in the summers is to point your box fan outside, and open up the top half of your windows if they’re designed that way. It seems counterintuitive, but the goal is to get hot air out of your house rather than let it build up.

I new about the switch to reverse on some fans. I know it is sometimes placed in different locations. WHAT I DID NOT KNOW, WHICH HE JUST TAUGHT ME, WAS THE REASON TO REVERSE THE ROTATION.

Also clean your ceiling fan so dust doesn't pile up. I keep asking my mom to do this because you can clearly see the dust. I might just have to clean it myself if she doesn't anytime soon.

I would do this, but I have high ceilings in my living room(where the only fan is) and I don't have a ladder tall enough to reach it. Plus, fumbling around looking for a switch on a huge rickety ceiling fan, while standing on a ladder, that's on a table, sounds very dangerous to me. Definitely gonna need to invest in a new ladder soon.

Not all ceiling fans operate in a pusher configuration while rotating counterclockwise. You should have explained the difference between pusher and tractor config. It isn't just the direction of rotation that determines the direction of airflow... It's the rotational direction in combination with the pitch of the blades.

Plus, by the way old fans, have it on the switch cap housing say make sure to keep in mind if you have an older house with older fans

Here is a tip if you look at the switch on your ceiling fan if it is down the air is flowing downward and if the switch on the fan is up the air is flowing upward.

And a humidifier. If you're heating your home, and it doesn't heat up. The air is too dry and you need to increase the humidity. It'll insulate the air.

I was wondering what that switch was for. I just thought when the fan went the opposite direction it was made for something cool to look at it 😂😂😂😂
