Sir really excellent. I learnt a lot. But I'm facing a problem by following ur steps. My design is not going to transmit that much heavy load and not going to run at high speed though I am getting face width as 8.25 cm. There is no other option to change the value. But in r. S. Khurmi machine design book page no 1121 says (b=0.73* dia of worm gear). Pls clarify my doubt
