Predator 420 golf cart, Don’t do this

I’m so lucky I did not die today. I was being cheap and put a 40 series clutch on the predator 420. Long story short, clutch was too small for the 1 3/16th size belt. I have another video with the right parts for the conversion.

So this is a real issue... I bought my G1 which had no engine so we installed a 420 Predator hemi on it. I was on the driver's side bumping the key switch while he was working on getting the engine to start. After the 3rd key bump it started and took off like a rocket dragging me by my arm because we didn't know the key wasn't grounded therefore I couldn't let go of the key which had a hold of me. It jumped a large burn pile, done a 360 slinging me off of it and hit the burn pile again launching it a 2nd time with him trapped under the hood which had closed meanwhile it landed on my left shoulder breaking my humerus in 12 places and cracked it in 3 places which required surgery with plate and screws. The G1 kept going with him trapped until he started pulling wires and gas line to finally get it to stop. I looked over because it was still running and it was coming straight toward my chest so I done a back roll and it passed not even a foot in front of my face before it stopped. So anyone who is planning on installing a predator engine BEWARE and at least put the back end on stands to prevent this from happening... later we found out about the key not being grounded and the governor was stuck wide open
