Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup (30g) AP flour
- 3/4 cup (120g) mochi powder aka rice flour
- 2 tsp (8g) sugar
- 1/4 tsp (0.8g) salt
- 5/8 cup (150g) water
- 3 tbsp (43g) butter
- 1 egg (whisked)
- 1/4 cup (48g) sugar
- 1 tsp (2g) matcha powder

Directions:
- Whisk together flour, mochi powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl
- Add water, butter, sugar, and salt to a sauce pan over medium heat until the butter is melted
- Add bowl of dry ingredients to sauce pan and continuously kneed until the dough comes together in one lump
- Move dough to a mixing bowl and slowly drizzle in egg while whisking. This is easier with a stand mixer but totally possible by hand if you wanna get jacked.
- After egg is mixed in, move to a piping bag with a star tip (I used a 1M). If the dough cools too much, it’ll get stuck in the tip, so move quickly to frying.
- Heat 2” (5cm) of oil to 375F (190C) and pipe 6” (15cm) churros
- While mochi churros are frying, combine 1/4 cup (48g) sugar and matcha powder
- Fry for ~6 minutes, flipping halfway through. Drain excess oil with paper towels and sprinkle matcha sugar immediately.

That looks rlly good but if you’ve tried the Costco one it was like chewy but crunchy at the same time kinda like yours but yours was prtty chewy but the crunch was there too.

For prettier churros try piping them onto cut sheets of parchment paper, then you can just drop the paper in there and the churros should slide right off after a couple seconds

Hi. Jamaican here.... Use something closer yo fried dough and cook for a shorter amount of time.
