There is one Major theory hinting at Yuji's Domain Expansion. Throughout Jujutsu Kaisen, we've seen everyone's backstory, like Geto, Gojo Satoru, Yuji Itadori etc. But we've never grasped a clue of Sukuna's past, we don't know how Sukuna became the King of Curses, why was Sukuna The Disgraced One and more. Since Sukuna was in Yuji's body, we need to know how Sukuna is this strong and Yuji might be the one to reveal it in the future. Yuji's Domain Expansion: Benevolent Shrine might activate the Memories of the Dead which brings past memories back to their victim, possibly putting illusions in their head that the victim's mind is slowly destroyed and crumbles. We might have to assume even Yuji's Domain Expansion doesn't have barriers since if Yuji's Domain Expansion had Barriers, Sukuna can break the barrier with his own Domain Expansion. If there are no barriers, then Sukuna would be unable to use his Domain to cancel Yuji's new Domain Expansion since there is no way to break it. Although if this is Yuji's Domain Expansion, then it is similar to Gojo's Domain Expansion and it makes sense since Gojo's Domain Expansion fills their minds with an overwhelming level of information while Yuji's Domain Expansion fills their mind with illusions and past horrors that their victim's mind is broken. This is still just a theory and cannot be confirmed at all.
