The rate of transition from offense to defense is so rapid!
It's no wonder the samurai mushin state of extreme probability parcing is described as the feeling like "promotion" or "foresight" as you'd need high resolution discernment to distinguish the subtle differences in action v.s teaction in opening v.s closing gaps of probabilty that areonly decided within 100ths of a second.
Astounding to see the lending of volition and finely trained impulse or "instinct" as each fencer seems to preemptively trigger the right sequence of actions and reactions that meet out the beat in their high cadence binomial flow of interaction.
