I find it really a waste of time to calculate the determinant of 4x4 and above matrices. It's is so tedious and time-consuming and give no satisfaction at all once u have completed.

It's very hard for me to focus on determinants.

Dear Mustafa Cukka, please look it over. The answer is 8.

i find it so much easier to convert it into row echelon form and then multiply it by the leading column values. but i guess that is sometimes more complicated?

this is the easiest way to find determinant.

literally made this 10 times more complicated then it actually is lol dont watch this video

this would be a better tutorial if there is less ambiance noise.

For sufficiently large matrices converting to the row echelon form is the best choice, because it requires lesser amount of calculations. However, cofactor expansion method (which we're using in this video) is sometimes more convenient than converting to echelon form if our matrix is not 100 000X100 000 (:

Thanks for your opinion! Well, it appears to me that in my newest video there's no such disturbing noise. I've used a new camera to shoot it.

my sister i think better u go for
1( 1x4-(-1x13)) -1 (3X4-1x13) +1 (3x-1 - (1x1 ))
ofc my matrix become like that
1  -1   2
3   1   13
1  -1   4
tyvm anyway

you'd better created zeroes in the matrix by adding linear combinations of rows or columns to a certain row or column of the be easier.... :/

try matrix cofactor method this one take too much time to solve

Thanks for the video although i think you could have used Subtraction at the first matrix, oh well great work and btw i confirm you're beautiful :^)

I enjoyed the first bit when you showed the summation equation for cofactor expansion, but there are more efficient ways to solve a 3x3 that don't require as many steps.
