We compute the determinant of a 4x4 matrix in this video. Based on the value of the determinant we also determine if the matrix is invertible or not.

In general, a square matrix is invertible if it's determinant is not equal to zero.

Please note, in the original problem statement I put -4 in the first column second row, but then I used +4 in the remainder of the problem. Just wanted to make sure everyone caught my mistake in case you were wondering where all the +4s came from all of a sudden!

Hello Sir, correct me if i am wrong. at 2:30 after simplifying it to 3x3. There should be -4 instead of 4.
