Easy Collard Greens

1 bunch of Collard Greens
1/2 carton of Low Sodium Chicken Stock
1 package of Turkey Bacon, cooked crispy

Seasonings:
Black Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Paprika
Seasoning Salt
Garlic Salt
Crushed Red Pepper
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 to 1/2 Apple Cider Vinegar

Thank you for this video, I’ve never enjoyed collard greens before but I love spinach and all veggies....my 80 year old mom is wanting collards, what mom wants she gets LOL - she said she always had them cooked in chicken broth, finally found a recipe we could both love - I love the spice and vinegar! Thank You!

Hi. You have never used garlic salt in my collards, but that is a great idea with salt intake limits. Also, I layer my seasonings, which might mean I am overdoing the salt. I have also put in a little bit of sugar. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

FIRST person I've seen to use turkey bacon, I wish you would have done a taste test, lol, but I'm DEF going to give this a try because I LOVE collards but I don't eat pork anymore for health reasons! Pork is in just about everything in this food industry and it's such a shame how they wanna kill us off, so THANK YOU for this. God Bless!!

The chicken broth is the key instead of water. Make sure to finish with apple cider vinegar

I wonder what is the cost difference in 8 hours cooking with electric vs a gas stove for 2 hours. Would you agree that every non- natural ingredient that is added is reducing the eating healthy aspect of eating greens. When I went to culinary school and would come back to our restaurant and add to a recipe my mother would be adamant about keeping it simple. Great video sister.
